Public Review
The Enbridge Northern Gateway Project will be required to pass a very extensive public regulatory review process led by Canada’s National Energy Board (NEB) and the Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency. This will involve a series of public hearings along the route to provide an opportunity for Aboriginal groups, stakeholders and individuals to directly express their opinions to the NEB and other participating government agencies.
In addition, Northern Gateway is undertaking its own comprehensive public consultation program regarding the project. Community members will be invited to express their views and learn more about the project.
Northern Gateway welcomes the regulatory review process and public consultation and looks forward to working with all interested parties to ensure an environmentally sound project.
