Location
Located in Kitimat at the end of the Douglas Channel, one of the widest and deepest inland waterways on North America’s West Coast, the Northern Gateway Marine Terminal will employ world class safety and navigational standards.
The location for the marine terminal will be on a 1,500-metre stretch of uplands and shoreline on the west side of the Kitimat Arm of the Douglas Channel.
The jetty will be located in deep water, approximately 30 metres.
