Enbridge - Northern Gateway Pipelines

At Northern Gateway, safeguarding the quality-of-life enjoyed by communities along the project route is always front-of-mind, and we understand that the best way to do this is to protect the environment. As such, the long-term success of our project depends on our ability to construct and operate the project in an environmentally responsible way.  As part of Northern Gateway’s planning, a team of over 200 environmental experts and scientists conducted a comprehensive analysis along the project route in areas such as marine biology, geology, archaeology and others. The findings of this analysis have been incorporated into our planning to ensure that construction proceeds safely and responsibly, and that our environmental impact is minimized throughout the operational life of the project.
